TACTICAL TEN format

TACTICAL TEN FORMAT

The playing format of the game. Tactical. Meaning the roster is made up to as many players as you would like to have. The limit amount of players on the field at one time is limited to 3 to 10 players per side. You may use your extra roster for substitutes or for games that other members may not be able to attend for what ever personal reason. Yes it says 3 to 10 players? Why? Some smaller units like to and feel they player better as a smaller unit. The choice is up to each team to decide the amount on their full roster.
The league is formatted to as close as the real thing as possible. That's why we are also having limited paint in hoppers. Yes it will be a modified hopper to allow either 30 or 50 balls. Just like in the real world. Real guns have magazine clips. Sure anyone can load up a hopper with 200 balls and shot them, but what would be tactical about that? Nothing. That's why we have limited hoppers for the realism of changing magazine clips, and thinking before you shoot.
Each game will consists of two 45 minute half times. Each side will take turns attacking and defending. while accomplishing one major objective per team. Scoring system is in place. Points will be added and subtracted according to objectives completed or not. Certain roles such as a team commander, team medic, team sniper, and team demolition man are in effect. Each player registered to play these roles will be registered as that. He or she will hold responsibility for that role as the team role. He or she will have special marked arm bands that will notify all of their specialty role towards the team. These role are also for competition format in the game in choosing awards towards the best medic, sniper, demo. You will see later how that will work. Finally there is a very special factor in this format that will include the whole team unit to complete. This is a separate playing time from the 45 minute half, but added towards the over all team score in game time. It will take the efforts of all team players to complete. It will be on a start and finish time clock. Holding record times for many reasons that will also be explain later. Lets just say in might be like running a obstacle course like in real Tactical Training. More news to come soon......

What are the fields going to be like?  Will they all be urban?  Or some woods as well?  Or a mix?  Or is there a thread already mentioning this part?  Thanks.

Good, good.  I love woods stuff but I've never done any real urban stuff.  That's what I really look forward too.  CQB.  Gooood. ;D  We're aloud to carry a sidearm on us, correct?

I like the idea of a modern tactical style league.  I think you came up with a good format, and although I presently do not have the time to put into paintball for the next couple months, I will follow this formats development with interest.

Good luck fellas.

this league sounds awesome and i really wish i could join but i live in michigan. I really like to play tactical and was wondering what the chances are of you guys coming to michigan? My friends and i were thinking about driving out there to play but we jsut dont have the time or money to do it. From what i have heard it sounds like it should be a huge success and i know in michigan there is a huge market for tactical paintball. I dont know if you have heard of "Hells Survivor" but they hold a tournament called the tippman challange and about 4,000 people show up every year and it is all military simulation. I dont know if you could get somethign going with them but i am really interested and hope you guys could expand out here. good luck with your first year.
