Tiberius 8 pistol.

279.99 gun + 69.99 extra magazine + taxes at badlands out of Toronto Ontario.

This is a solid gun that is well put together with quality materials and workmanship.  As tested, you get, the marker, magazine,  plastic case, allen keys, barrel condom, instructions.

The Tiberius is a blow forward, spring return action marker, with a ambidextrous trigger blocking safety that works well and isn't hard to use.

The magazine fits in the grip and holds 8 rounds as well as a 12gm co2 cartridge. This makes the grip kind of on the big side and some people may not like it... I’d recommend that if you're interested, find someone that has one, or go to a paintball shop and handle it before buying.

The instruction are concise, but you may need to read them more than once as the gun can be a little complicated to take apart and put back together. Make sure you tighten the screws well as they can have a way of working themselves loose.

Velocity is easily adjusted and it also has a limiting adjuster. meaning as the ambient temperature rises it will allow the velocity to rise no more than 20fps or so. That is if you've taken the time to adjust it in the first place. I’ve only used this feature once...and while it does seem to work, it started bleeding off gas on me at the wrong time in a game... Use it, if you don't like it, you can set it so it doesn't affect how the gun performs and just forget about it.

It's accurate, I have no problems hitting what I aim at using the sights on the marker... but it is paint sensitive. Cheap paint is cheap paint though so what can  you expect. Everyone that has shot mine has been very impressed. More than once with a good paint like Marballizer I’ve consistently hit the same point I was aiming at shot after shot at over 50 feet. That's not bad using one hand.

Now please understand, I really like this gun...

But when I got it, every last (8th) ball in the magazine chopped. Same with the extra mag. Its very annoying when that happens. After a very close examination I found that the last ball wasn't as high in the chamber as the previous 7... the magazine follower couldn't push it up enough and the bolt would chop it.

I fixed it by modding the follower and haven't had a problem since... well sort of.

The sort of is if you dry fire it too much the little rubber bumper can come off the front of the bolt, good luck finding it, and you'll be chop city again. Yup, I’ve replaced a few of those too... Think the next time it happens I’m going to clean the bolt well with hot, hot water and soap and see what a dab of silicon will do.

As far as cleaning it on the field, drop the magazine, swab it from the barrel end, up the grip too, wipe off the top of the mag and you're back in business. Just make sure you clean it out good when you're home.

The Tiberius 8 is a pistol and was designed as such. If you want a Tiberius pistol you can convert to a rifle you have to get a T9 (which you purchase as a rifle but can be dressed down).

I may put a MP7 body on mine as there is one available now. and I think I’ve even seen magazine extensions that will bring your ammo count up to 17 in the clip. CQB anyone?

Barrel mounting is proprietary so you are going to be somewhat limited as to what and where you can get different barrel configurations. Lapco and a few others are making some though so look around and see what you like. Mind you, the gun is accurate as is.

Short comings aside I  do really like this gun , and you’ll find it at my side when I’m playing.
