Hey people lets help out those who are looking to buy a new barrel out. Lets write some reviews or just feedback on the types of barrels you are currently using.

well, just bought a CMI XT Milsim Barrel for my sp1.  can't say i'm impressed with it. don't really care about external finish which wasn't really all that bad but the inside is just plain not that good. have run some extra fine steel wool through it and that helped some but its no more accurate than the stock barrel. i do plan on lapping it and if it does help at all i'll post my results

Yes, usually all barrels are the same. Unless it has either extra or no holes in it or any internal grooves its just the same as any other barrel. I will be posting my Review on the Tactical Rifled Barrel soon, so stay tuned.

the cmi barrel does have rifilng. just its internal finish isn't all that smooth. i do know what new rifling in a real firearm looks likes and cmi just doesn't do that great a job of it, at least in the sample that i've seen.

well paintballs don't travel with ballistic force so Rifling wont work as good as a real firearm. The rifling used on real firearms are in a spiral rotation, like the hammerhead barrels. But like I said i's only a paintball, not a real bullet.

ummmm.... yup, i kinda know that... lol... been using firearms since i was 6. have taken several firearm gunsmithing courses. can't tell you all that ive done  as we are in canada

shooting kinda runs in the blood up here. my dad was a bren gun instructor for the algonquin reg. during ww2 stationed at niagara falls. i saw him shoot 5 shot groups at a 100 yards and cover them with a quarter, open sights and all. can't say i'm that good... but i'm not bad.

Man he's skilled! I've done that only with a M14 7.62 cal.

that was when i was alot younger... he's been gone since '90. don't get out shooting as much as i'd like too... use to be able to shoot right out my back door... lol... alot has changed in 20 years
