Hey everyone, just a little update:

CANTRU has now got a full roster for the 2009 season.  We are very happy to welcome in the new recruits and have a very good feeling about the new additions to the team.  We will be falling through on the previous plans of playing various tournys and scenario games so you will all see us around a lot this season and hopefully seasons to come.

Update:

CANTRU kicked off our season and our fields season opener yesterday (Saturday April 4) we practiced with some members from Team Wrath, another sponsored team by SOF paintball. It was great to get the teams together and run some scrims and let the paint fly!

We are basically now at a full/ final roster for the 09 season, just finalizing some things. - positions, and levels of the team people are playing on. (Club or Tournament)

Hey guys,
A little update on the team:

CANTRU has been going through some rocky stages in their travels lately.  As I and the co. Cpt. were on vacation with some friends, 5 of the team mates have left the team and formed their own team.  No hard feelings really, just a low blow.  This leaves us a little scarce for the present season but we will and are recruiting as of a week ago.

So
CANTRU has just taken another blow.  SOF Paintball - our home field and main sponsor, has just canceled the sponsorship agreement with CANTRU.  Unfortunatly it is looking bad to the future of the team.
I will let you all know an update when i know.

its hard to count on others, part of the reasons why i have not looked for sponsors. only ppl i trust in paintball are the core group of guys i play ball with.

we regularly have 20 ppl out every weekend. if they decided to go elsewhere... i'd do it all over again.

recruiting is alot like sales... its a numbers game. you find ppl and then you find ppl to replace those you know aren't going to stick.

my friend, go play some ball... ppl will find you.
