Basic training

Well so long brothers and sisters in arms.  For I am leaving for Texas 0800hrs tomorrow.  But no worries I will be back online by around August when I go to Tech school.  And will be back in Columbus, Ohio before the Big Rival Game.

For those who do not know I am going into the Ohio Air Guard as a Crew Chief Mechanic.

Well I have finished basic training.  I graduated as honor grad.  Would've gotten the marksmanship ribbon if it weren't for lightning on the day at the range.  If there is any paintball going on near Witchita Falls, TX near September or when i am allowed to be in civies off base.  I will try to come although I will have to use a rental.  Well gotta go.  I have a duffle bag to pack for Tech school.

Hey those bad weather training days suck so bad. I've had too many of those days, esp in Sniper School!

Ya know I thought San Antonio's weather was hot.  Its even hotter up north here in Witchita Falls, TX.  It was 110F yesterday when i stepped off the charter bus.  The breeze wasn't even cooling me down it was doing the opposite for it felt like an oven.  So far Tech school isn't so bad.  Next few days I have to do nothing but details and briefings.  Though they actually have a paintball field within the base.  I am still debating on using my ABUs, problem is, I would have to use a rental.

Hey man anything to keep you moving in paintball is good. Even if you're using rentals! Don't use your ABU's man your sarg is going to get on you sooo bad. I did something similar and my sarg yelled at me like no tomorrow.

can u have your gear sent in to you and keep it on base?  that would be ideal!
