Deak i personally dont reccommend the x7 flatline! I have found the x7 flatline to be very in accurate while it does give you more distance what does that matter if you can hit the broad side of a barn!

On my X7 i am using a stiffy c series spec ops barrel or my 16" linear sp barrel!

both these barrels get me distance and accuracy that works for my application of tactical style milsim paintball!

Duhon, my X7 is constantly jamming up and sometimes I got to keep pulling the cocking handle just to unjam it. You have any tips for my use?

I had a problem with that once but it was because I was using old paint . It was about 98 degrees outside and the paint was getting mushy. I put that freak barrel on my X-7 and I don't recomend them at all. I cronographed it with the stock barrel and the freak and for what I paid for the freak it is definately not enough of a difference to make the change. Another question how long before you can call paint old? I mean does it have a shelf life? Let me know. Later DEAK. SEMPER FI.

I wasn't even shooting paint out, I was shooting Reballs. I don't know if its just the reballs or not, but if this consist I don't know what I'm going to do.

For old paint I'd say about 2-3 months, I mean If you live in hot areas then I'd definitely change paint every 2-3 months. I may be wrong, and you may be able to squeeze more life out of it, but if they feel all like rubber then you shouldn't be shooting them.

I was thinking about getting all those cyclone upgrades but don't think they are necessary, but if I find out that its not the reballs I'm shooting then I may have to get those upgrades.

Let me know your thoughts on this some more.

Yeah The cyclone sure did it's job at yesterdays game. Had a huge game on the 8th and found out that it was the rubber Reballs that jams up the cyclone system. It really sucks for the fact that I really need the reballs for training and already invested in quite a few... Got them at RAP4, hopefully they can make some more compatible rubber training balls for the cyclone without needing to upgrade it.

Oh and hey the flatline just makes the paintballs fly farther. Makes only a small difference to me. I'm really looking into the apex barrel so if you find anything out about it please comment the post I put up about it.

also, make sure you get the reballs ... oiled?  i think thats what it is, its a lube, and it makes then feed through your gun way better, they do it at the field i play at.
but asi said, im not sure if it is an oil or a lube.

Hammer Head barrels are a good way to go. As accurate as you can get with paintballs.

The Flatline is good for longballing, but don't expect the balls to explode on contact due to the lack of velocity.

Oil reballs? Never heard of that. What is it about the hammerhead barrels that makes it so accurate?

Frostbite, HammerHead is a barrel company, not paintballs.

Call To Arms, they say that it's because their barrels are "reverse porting and precision rifling". I'm not a machinesmith by any means so I don't know if that's the real reason. All I know, is that countless people in the region that I play in swear by the barrels. They're accurate and dampen the sounds of the marker shooting slightly. Don't dampen the sound to a large degree, but to a small amount. They make barrels for the A-5, Phantom, Cocker, Angel, Matrix, Intimidator, Automag, Spyder, Tippman 98 and the Ion.

No matter which barrel you buy, you can buy the fin/back for multiple markers so that way you don't have to get the several copies of one barrel for different markers.

I recommend HH barrels, but of course I'm biased because I've been told about them since I started paintball.

Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch guys. Not what I was meaning ta do.

sorry about that Joker, i read to fast and when you said at the end "as accurate as you can get with Paintballs"  i interpreted it as you were talking about a Ball type. sorry

and the hamerhead barrels seem sweet
