i dont know much about your spider, but i do know a lil about the Smart Parts 8,
1) it is completly water proof so it can get wet and then fullly work, and it will actually fire underwater. (or atleast, so i have heard)
2) its pretty upgradable
3) and it looks pretty sick.

so take that and accountability into your decision making,  is your spyder reliable... or would the sp8 be better?   etc

hope that helps.

The SP8 is extremely accurate! I've talked one of my teammates into getting so I'll have a review up for you if you'd like.

iv personally tested the sp1 out for a customer at the west point spring game when i threw it in the lake, picked walked out knee deep to get it, shot it above the water and put it under the water and shot it again. its pretty light for its size, extremely customizable, and best of all, as long as u have ur dwell settings right ull never have to worry about chopping a ball in your gun.

Nice herc. Wow the SP8 seems really durable, I never did all those things to it before. You should try doing that to an X7 and let me know how much damage it can take.

if its an electro your gonna fry it... the way the sp1 (which is actually my suggestion from my first post) was maid on a fluke to be waterproof due to a air pocket that forms in the grip when the screws are inserted into the gun.
