Unfortunately we (Ambush Alpha) wont be able to participate due to the uniform policy. Although we do wear black BDU pants, we do wear our own custom type speedball jersey with our sponsors on them. Wish everyone has a great time with the league. We wanted to give it a try.

um i have a real question. first off i wear a leaf suit similar to that of turkey hunters anyways i find it works great because i play the sniper position on our team or at least as close the an actual that you can be in paintball... which isnt very close... anyways the rest of team wears mostly bdu's and such however my question is in a realistic stand point most snipers wouldnt be wearing the same thing as the rest of the grunts... he might if he was on base or leave or the like but he wouldnt while in the field... unless maybe he was an army sniper which often times i find isnt actually a sniper but more like fire support marksman anyways my point is that while in the field the sniper is going to utilize 3d camo of any kind in order to gain an advantage so why would I KEEBLER (THE TEAM SNIPER) wear basic bdu's when bdu well frankly dont cut it when it comes to perfect concealment.

will we be aloud to wear only matching jerseys but not matching paints we decided not to take redz deal so we are just going to all be wearing assorted speed ball paints.  also if we managed to get the same color and type of speed ball paints would that be ok.  The reason im asking speedball paints is because we like how they are made and they hold up better in paintball.  Also do we all need to have vests because no one on our team will be useing one for this event due to low paint loads.  I dont see why you would require vests thought exept it does look more mil slim.

UNIFORM POLICY

Tactical Ten will have a uniform policy. What does this mean? Well we said we don't want it to just be like any other format of paintball. We are pushing for high standards and for one to stand out from all the rest. This format is to be as close to the real thing as could be. The realism of Tactical Play. So, this being said, we are looking for all teams to be in uniform standards as the following.
1. All team members must be dressed the same.
2. Uniform must be either a BDU style or all black.
3. No speedball Jerseys please.
4. No bright colors.
5. Try to keep to a tactical marker. If you are using a bright colored marker, please use something to camo the marker. Example; cover with dark or camo tape. Paint the marker. Or any other idea's you may have that will work. PM me or drop a line here is better, so all can see what all thoughts are for players.

Ok, now as far as the pants and shirt goes. If we as the team have, regardless of manufacture; Black, tan, green, camo or what ever pattern we chose, as long as it is something that would be a military or law enforcement style. So a team could come in world war 2 French looking outfits, real or post production. Another team could wear all woodland camo BDUs, another could be in all black, another wear LAPD uniforms, and another could wear camo pants and OD green Ts. Just as long as the entire team wear the same clothing.

Now as far as the paint hauling gear goes? can the nXe woodland camo 4+1 be good? go to my specialsops page and wearing the vest be good? Here is the link, view my pics and you will see the vest.

Now look at the rest of my team we all have different vests and pod harness. Is this okay as long as the shirts and pants math?

im not sure wheather or not this is true but from everything im seeing rules why im pretty sure they are saying that yes thats ok because that falls under your equipment like your guns wouldnt all be the same that kind of thing...least i hope thats true cause im not very those bulky vests that the rest of my team wears.

Try to keep the whole uniform as close as you can. Yes top and bottoms must match for the whole team, just like any competition sport. As for the 4+1, that doesn't matter to us. What ever every player uses is fine. Tactical vest are on the must list. But if the whole team doesn't have them we won't kill anyone, lol....We will have a TACTICAL VENDORS set up from RAP4 so anything you need you will be able to purchase there as well at a great price. All we real ask is you try to keep the uniform as close as possible for all members.

Our Team uniform is as follows:

Olive Drab BDU Pants, Class B Black BDU Sweater over Black Turtleneck, Black Combat Boots, Tactical Vests w/ corrisponding Pouches (Changeable according to Scenario), Green Berets (When not wearing Masks)

Some of us had to go out and buy some new gear, some of us already had most of it.  It's not that big of a deal, and the setup allows us to use it in any game not just TTPL, but in SPPL, and Recplay as well.  We could  (and have) schooled the youngsters at several speedball games with similar gear including tactical vests, and i think if we take up speedball again this summer, this will be our uniform there as well.  Whats the use of playing for practice, if your not practicing how you play?  Besides, as far as my boys are concerned, Speedball=Heavy Fire Situation.

If a uniform look is the goal I think the team concept of a "uniform look" will allow this league to grow and not exclude groups that have sponsors. A couple suggestions...

1. allow any combination of uniform by a team that the primary colors are not Neon pink, neon green, purple, red etc (yes this will have to be VERY detailed and tedious). If someone is worried that they aren't in compliance have them send a picture.

2. allow any BDU uniform of camo, ACU, or solid color.

3. Include team Under Armour or similiar tops that are worn as primary uniform tops. (my team uses these in the Summer)

4. compromise and exclude speedball pants, cleats, and tennis shoes. Encourage teams that have an appropriate jersey to wear a utility or BDU solid color pant.

5. Decide ahead of time what you are going to do about masks and amrkers. There needs to be a uniform code for the hardware before it becomes an issue.

To promote the sport it is important to maximize accessibility without having to compromise the intended spirit. It sounds like the true spirit is the format not the environment.

T-a-c-t-i-c-a-l....not re-enactment is the purpose right?
