The year is 2020. After being bombarded for the last four years with increasingly larger asteroid, earth’s scientists have finally put in place a net of satellites around the planet protecting us all from future impacts. But no one knew that the asteroids where just the forerunner of a much more serious problem, invasion.
The asteroids that are pummeling our planet are the remains of another planet in a system that earth’s scientists knew only as R-142. The inhabitants, know only as the Horde, were in a perpetual state of war with all the surrounding forms of intelligent life in their system. The planets destruction was caused by extreme over mining during their search for the raw materials. Most of the Horde race died during the explosion, but those who were in space or off planet survived. After the destruction of their world the Horde decided to follow the ‘scraps’ of their planet out of the system and use them to ‘soften up’ future targets. Best as we can tell we are the fourth planet they have attacked in this fashion.
What the invaders didn’t expect was our net of satellites. The net has successfully protected us for the majority of large strikes. The net seems to have even protected us somehow from the direct assault of the Horde ships. But the aliens are biding their time. They have been slowly working their way through our net and have successfully made a small hole.
Remote recon has confirmed that a large landing party of Horde has touched down in the woodlands of Belfast close two 8 key satellite control stations. If they can bring down those stations, they open a hole large enough to land a full scale assault.
Join us and join the fight to protect the earth from the invading Horde or wipe the earth clean of the human plague making it ready for the Horde to consume. Either way, nothing is ever going to be the same.
