Why don't you ask the snipers that question? See what they have to say? Didn't look easy to me and I was keeping score  I saw missed targets and I saw bullseyes

well let me say,im a well trained sniper,and its alot different shooting paint than bullets.the target roughly 30 yrds away with a cross wind on a paintball makes for a very tough challange,as many found out.theres no way to adjust for windage on a paintball gun that i know of.the only thing i could say is you need to try it before you say it is not a challenge.some players did great some missed altogether,its really up to the paintball where it wants to go.thats to whole fun of the challenge.this is just my observation from being there and participating in the challenge.i very rarely miss my target(tangos),but i did shoot left,and right of center that day.welcome to the world of paintball. it would help if you used a more accurate marker as opposed to a tippman, i use my phantom and 30 yrds i would say is pretty much my gotcha range, now 40 yards is where the challenge comes in, but your right i wasnt there but i didnt much approve of the that area of the tourny to begin with and im team sniper, but there were a few rules in general that i didnt agree with however thats just my opinion and i dont feel like arguing, also try not to jump down someones throat when they were clearly being funny haha

Well, if you haven't already, you should voice your disagreements so that they can be discussed...

I have one rule I didn't like for the sniper competitions, and I am sure some of you know after my ranting, especially teddymo haha. I think dry fires should not be counted towards your total 5 shots. Ball breaks should still count however.

They weren't counted, however, during some players shooting, there was some confusion as to what was a dry fire and what wasn't. Some people didn't realize it was a dry fire.


However, with that said, I think it should be 5 shots period. It should be up to the individual to make sure that his equipment is functioning properly. If this was a real sniper mission and your weapon jammed you would be screwed.
with that being said, maybe someone should see what the rules are in a real shooting competition. See if jams, duds, etc.... count as their shots....

Thanks "PUNISHER" and also we had the pods mod, so there was only 50 balls going in at a time.
