I have looked through the threads and haven't been able to find any mention of the use/number of Grenades allowed. I can see a real use for big boys in the league and wanted to know what the thought/rules will be.

I've JUST talked to Hercules, and Hercules says that he discussed this and other situations with them yesterday, and the TTPL official ruling is That Atomic Ordinance Grenades will be available for sale, but those with grenades can bring them as well. So it all works out. He also said if you need clarification, give him a call. Hes away from his computer at the moment, but he will gladly clear up any issues you may have.

I'm in the forum. I had to jump on my handheld palm to get this out of the way, before you all get at each other before game day, lol...
Communication:
I have spoken to Accurate Paintball who is also the field owners for the TTPL trial games. As Longbow said above, there are some things going on behind the seen that does not involve you the players and us the organizers of the TTPL. The truth is it will be resolved between the other parties and we should all focus on this week-end and the great event it will be.

Grenades:
The field will provide grenades for those who don't have them. The grenades will be field grenades only except for the RAP4 products that I will have. Meaning. Landmines and Hand held grenades. They will have them for sale at $4 each or $20 for 5. Also they will have trip wired grenades for sale too.

I'm sorry for the confusion and wanted to clear this up before players got to the field and heard other things. You must all understand that this is a trial run game and things will change every minute. That's the only way you can perfect the games for November.

Also the prices are cheap for entry and paint. You can't beat the deal of $45 a case and $15 for entry day that will cover you all day air. Day and night. That fee will also allow you to play on there other fields while you wait for your game schedule time. Remember we need to support the fields we play on and by doing this we need to use field paint only. Sorry if there was a miss communication, but this is a very important matter that can not be over looked. I know a few of you have bought your own grenades but please understand the matter. I will still try to work something out with the field for those of you who have bought your grenades, but I can't guarantee anything.

As i said, I just talked to Herc, so perhaps you should stop thinking that i'm posting on an assumption, and actually read what was posted. Now whose speaking matter of factly with a know it all attitude Capt. Longbow?

well like i said earlier,but you didnt listen,its not about knowing it all,its about knowing the subject at hand ,im involved with tac-ten and all the top people with it,so i tried to help you out with some info,and you didnt likeit.and herc backed up what i said,so dont be mad at me get mad at them.i dont make the rules so i guess you need to find a way to channel your anger.i guess youll get over it eventually,by the way seeya out there,have fun,thats what it is all about.

Hey Herc, now I'm a little confused on another matter. We have to pay an additional $15 to get on the field too.  If this is true , then thats news to me. Never heard this info before. I thought thats what the $50 registration fee covered. Let me know asap. My guys will let me have it if thats the case.

No its posted and should also be in the emails. I've also told many on phone conversations. The cost of registrations is used just like in any event or organization. Registration money supports the materials and needs that a league needs to kick off the ground. Some examples are: promotional items, advertisement, awards, prizes, staff and so on. Please keep in mind that this league is new and Major Event Sponsors will have questions on sponsoring any event they have never seen before. That's why everything is out of pocket before the November games. This way we can attract the Major Sponsors and have them support the best way they can, before we go live with the TTPL. Also with paint at $45 how else is a field going to make some kind of money. We all have been to events, in fact two weeks ago where registration was one fee and then they charged us for air. Not to mention paying over $70 a case in most events, and still paying registrations and air.

And he backed up what I said too now didn't he.  so i guess we were both right.  All I'm saying dude, is you were talking about me acting as if i knew everything, and you were too.  You put it across as if no other grenades were allowed, Herc said some are, so BLAH!
Keep this in mind, just because I know people, and i talk to people doesn't mean that i know everyone.  Never claimed to.  But on the flipside the same is said for you.  Yes there are things going down behind the scenes and I don't know everything thats going on, but then again, neither do you.  So when you get all high and mighty because you think I'm some newbie to the scene, check the attitude at the door, because I keep my crew VERY much in the loop, and make it my point to ask every possible question every single day.  I stay informed, its my job as a reporter to do so.
Now I have to write a retraction article about how Grenades are not allowed to be brought, and teams with sponsors need to be weary, because of conflicts behind the scenes.  I know for one my boss probably isn't going to be happy, especially since the first article is already on its way to layup, but oh well,  its not my loss.
